The clinical document templates that we provide in TheraNest client profiles: Initial Assessment & Diagnostic Codes, Treatment Plans, and Progress Notes, all have a draft feature built in.

Once you start typing in a template and either move from field to field or leave the page, a message will appear in the top right corner confirming that a draft is being saved. The draft is removed when the document is saved by using the green Save button at top right.

If you leave these tabs before saving, drafts can be retrieved the following ways:

Initial Assessment & Diagnostic Codes Tab:

1) Click the Initial Assessment & Diagnostic Codes tab.

2) Drafts will appear on the right side of the page with an orange indicator; click View Draft Copies of This Note and then the appropriate draft in the drop down menu that appears (in the case of multiple saved drafts). Drafts will be listed by date created and can be loaded into the form by clicking on the desired draft.

3) You'll see a green Draft has been loaded... message at the top right of the screen.

Note: If you start a draft, leave the document, then return to the document and start typing in the blank document instead of loading your first draft, you're creating a second draft. Upon saving the document, all drafts are deleted and replaced with the saved version.

Treatment Plans Tab:

1) Click the Treatment Plans tab.

2) Even when a treatment plan is not saved, it still appears in the list of created treatment plans on this tab. Click Details for the date the treatment plan draft was created.

3) Inside the treatment plan, click View Draft Copies of This Note on the right side of the page to load the desired draft.

4) You'll see a green Draft has been loaded... message at the top right of the screen.

Note: If you start a draft, leave the document, then return to the document and start typing in the blank document instead of loading your first draft, you're creating a second draft. Upon saving the document, all drafts are deleted and replaced with the saved version.

Progress Notes Tab:

1) Click the Progress Notes tab.

2) Click the + Progress Notes button as if you're creating a brand new progress note.

3) Drafts will appear on the right side of the page with an orange indicator; click View Draft Copies of This Note and then the appropriate draft in the drop down menu that appears. Drafts will be listed by date created and can be loaded into the form by clicking on the desired draft.
